| I have several Ideas. Do not suicide the doors. Shave the handles, Do alot of work to fix the body on it. Keep is as original as possible because it will be worth alot more $$$$$$. Do alot of work on the interior and all the details inside and out. I'm not very fond of people lowering older cars and doing all this hi tech BS too so an old classic. How is the shape of it inside and out? Hows the engine, transmission. rear end, and suspension? How much money do you have to work with it? | ||

| Now he may not have known the difference and posted in what he thought to be the right one. I have moved the thread to the appropriate area. But on the other hand, he knew how it works well enough to pop Cpl with neg rep... Too bad a pop of neg nothing rep power is still nothing | ||

Sounds like a 14-15 year old that found a 55 Dodge on the back 40 of his grand daddys property and was told he could have it. Now polling for crack pipe dreams from others. ![]()

If memory serves me right, the '55 Royal was a boat of a car. Those sorts of cars have all kinds of crazy potential. If you're going for the 'tricked out' look, my suggestion would be to shave all four door handles. Suiciding the back doors would be sweet, it's done all the time but it's always nice. As for air ride, it's cool and I'm planning on putting it on my truck when I get some money, but I don't know if I'd put it on a car like you have. I'd definitely lower it down, sit it real close to the ground. As for the wheels and tires, I can't tell you what tires to get, but depending on what kind of look you're going for really dictates the wheels. However, Boyd Coddington makes a lot of good-looking wheels that would probably fit your application. It'd be an old school car with a new school twist. Billetwheel.com That's about all the advice I can give you. Please keep us updated on the project! It sounds sweet! Best of luck.
