| you would have to get an adaptor for it but as we've told people who have come asking this exact same thing, its not worth the cost. an adaptor for a laptop monitor to a normal video plug costs more than the monitor itself would be. you'll probably be better off just getting another monitor for it. | ||

I am working on something that may make this work (as the TFT screen I have is RGB analog and not digital, I should be able to fashion a signal converter for RGB to RCA Component). I have the display driver card that was in the laptop, as well as the board connector for the display. If I cant get the driver board to work with it outside the laptop, I have a backup plan that I am going to try. I won an old legacy 5" lcd screen on ebay for 20 bucks. Since this has a rca connection on it for the screen, that means that the display driver circuits for the 5" screen are enclosed in the case (so ill just try replacing the 5" screen with the 13" one and see wahts what). If i can get either of these to work, I will post picts and schematics up here for everyone ![]() Thanx for the input all ![]() E | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I hate to say this to all u other memebers but for what he is wanting to do you are wrong. ![]() A lappy lcd can be huge compared to regular cars lcd for about the same price of the adaptor. Also a laptop lcd can run from only 12V as a regular lcd he would need a inverter for power. Here's a good site for stuff like that http://store.earthlcd.com/s.nl/sc.7/category.5/.f This part inperticular http://store.earthlcd.com/s.nl/it.A/...=7&category=99 | ||
