Mongoose build

Well boys here are some updates on my Mongoose XR250 project. Just installed are:

Thorn resistant tubes
CST Caballero tires
Front and rear Avid BB7 203mm (9 1/2 inches!!) mechanical disc brakes

Holy crap dude, as a fellow bike enthusiast you're making me very jealous! Uber sweet breaks!

Im still trying to find a worthy replacement for my Shimano Deore XT gear system (too many prangs on the derailleur is making it very unreliable). Havn't even considered new brakes yet...

How much did those discs set you back?

70 for both + free shipping. I get all my stuff through the bike shop at cost, so I have a hook up on all my parts.

Sweeet deal, wish I had something like that. Can get PC parts at cost, but alas not bike bits

Sweet brake system there. Thorn proof tubes... Used some of those long ago. Are they still those super heavy pigs?

I still can't figure out where the motherboard will be mounted.

Probably on the handlebars, I don't need them anyway, cause I can ride a bike with no handlebars, no handlebars, no handlebars....
