I shot this video yesterday! of the nation's largest street rod and classic car show here in Minnesota. Lats year's event brought in 11,525 cars 1964 and older!

Great vidi! The opening pullback is stunning - I was like "What is he filmin..OOOOOOOOOO"

But why 1964? 1959 I see [decade break]... 1968 I see [40 years]...

Been seeing alot of them going through Wisconsin today hopefully the weather is nice over there in Minnesota as it has been raining here where i am off and on all day..

I heard once and forgot why, but my thought is that 1964 is significant landmark year because the 1964 Mustang spawned a new era of car designs. ....and mass automobile manufacturing went into hyperdrive

To this day, it irritates me that they don't widen it year by year.. Truely some of the best muscle cars were made between 1965 - 1969.

Yes, it rained today, but only for a few mins

I was under the impression that the Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan was the largest......with over 1 million in attendance.....

1 million cars registered? or people attending...?

This was 11,532 cars registered

Well, maybe there not all registered

.......but there's usually over 40,000 cars there with over 1,000,000 people which attend........The cruise covers 16 miles through several cities and that also includes several car shows. I had my 1970 Mach 1 in the first three til I sold it due to my 2nd divorce. Cars from all over the world attend.
