| What's your favorite PC game of all time? Based on hours spent playing. Addiction factor etc..... Don't worry about being cool or hip... I wan't to know what really sucked you in over the years... Me? I had a thing for Fighters Anthology....The followup to Janes / EA games USNF..... The game had tons of flyable aircraft...Excellent multiplayer capability over DIAL UP.... And customizable missions.... I headed an ONLINE squadron called the VX9 Vampires for 2 1/2 years from 97 to 99... Playing this game NIGHTLY for hours.... It was one serious addiction that I had to crack.... What was yours? Last edited by j-dogg; 03-May-08 at 07:14 PM. | ||

| I am going to go with the Medal of Honor series, primarily the Breakthrough expansion. My summer day consisted of waking up at around 10, playing the game. Eat dinner, play game. Night is coming, still playing. End playing at 3 - 4 AM. I knew I had to stop playing when I (literally, not in the game) walk into my room and, in an instant, spot someone in my room and quickly go for my rifle. (Yes, I jerked my hands towards the bottom right area of my body to pull out a rifle :-| ) Same went for grenades. I have more than once thought about tossing 'nades when I'm in a room with lots of other people. I stopped going out of the house; this game was too good. So, I don't know what the addiction factor of that would be; perhaps a 10? Give me a Carcano, or a DeLisle, throw me in rotating objective maps, have realism enabled, have mustard gas grenades enabled, and I won't leave the PC. To clear confusion, NO I am not one of those people who go around bombing or suiciding and all, lol; I am merely sharing what was the cause of an addiction to an FPS. This is Medal of Honor, and anything else is unimportant. | ||

| Have a few favorites really. Red Faction: Because it was the first online FPS I played, and you always love your first. Call of Duty Series: Been playing it since release, and waiting for COD2 now. Quake 3: This game is a complete frag fest, and tons of online multi fun! Painkiller Series: This game is graphically the best I Have seen. It is a shame the multi porting is screwed. ![]() | ||

You know....The CS players will never die...I enjoyed it at one time...But found way to many YOUNG PUNKS that cheat playing it... It really turned out to be a big teen dram fest for me.... Most the people that stick to CS are hardcore and very good at it by now... DO you play the new version?

Absolutely I do! The game was highly rated, and with good reason. The SP is very good, and for me that is saying a lot. Usually the SP is not why I buy a game, but in this case it was a bonus. Will post up some screenies for you Digi! ![]()

| The painkiller games were quite fun considering they were games that I would personally consider to be under the radar. Most games that came out that made a difference had advertising and hype galore, but Painkiller was just run and gun goodness. Some of the boss monsters in that game were tough, but I enjoyed the entire game. Im gettin the itch to play it again...Thanks ![]() It was fun, but not my favorite. My favorite game for sentimental reasons and all that jazz is Doom 2 because it is what got me into PC gaming in the first place. Thank you id Soft for making me what I am today. ADD: No, I dont sleep in case you are wondering, | ||

Digi The file size is way too much for the limit. It is not worth uploading them after they are so resized and compressed. Sorry

| Yea I am a die hard CS player and have been for a good chunk of my life, going on 6 years now. But, I have also loved playing Homeworld 2, Dawn of War, Soul Caliber 1, and Air Force Delta for the Sony Dreamcast. Many many weeks, months, and years lost to playing those games. Now Battlefield 2 is out, looks to take the place of most for a while! | ||

| FF7 was my Second Favorite RPG game closly Followed by FF8. I dont know why, I just liked 8 more than 7, but 9 sucked IMO. Dont ask why, I just didn't like when they switched from technological future to medieval style again, was just a let down for me. Another Good RPG game that got very little recognition, but was still UBER FUN was Legend of the Dragoon. I played through that game, and it was simply a masterpiece all the way through. | ||

| It really depends. Favorite game vs favorite addition.. If we're talking the game that entranced me and I just couldn't pull away no matter what.. Everquest 1. I spent (wasted) 5 years on that. If it's my all time favorite game.. as bad as some people found it.. Oni. I love that game to death. But if it's a console game.. Final Fantasy Tactics.. hands down. | ||
