| Not that I am a talkative member around the forum but I haven't been stopping by as much due to a new toy I just purchased. I finally got myself back on 2 wheels, Italian retro racing ones at that.Went and picked up a 2007 Ducati Sportclassic1000 Biposto. Yep long name for a motorcycle ain't it. Well, was almost a month to take delivery of it after having some pipes added to it and what seemed like the incessant bad weather. Specs are awesome; 402 lbs 1000cc L twin 92 hp @ 8000rpm 67 ftlb @ 6000rpm electronic fuel injection, dual plugs per cylinder 6 speed gearbox, and oh yeh, no valve springs baby. I added the Termignoni race 2into2 pipes with the baffles pulled. After the ecu upgrade and remap it should be right around 100hp and 72ftlbs of torque. It's not a huge power gain but dang does it sound fantastic. I've had Harley guys with straight pipes think mine sounds cool. I added a video to google and as soon as it clears I will add the link to the post. Edit: well that didn't take long to go through. | ||

| Two seats is correct. The rear seat is under the tail cover. If you plan to ride with a passenger you need to remove 4 screws and slide that cover off. I don't know of anybody that is willing to ride with my crazy self so it's not much of a problem. s1ugh34d; The biggest problem is getting a microphone that isn't affected by wind noise as bad but can also pick up the really low frequency engine noises. I almost didn't post the video because the sound my camera pics up just doesn't do the engine justice. It really accentuates the high pitch wine and barely conveys how deep and rumbly the exhaust is. | ||
