Went a bit north to Jacksonville to a junkyard that contained a modified Ford Probe, as noted by another member of our club.

Went out there and found all of this, roughly 1000 dollars worth of bolt ons, for 207 dollars.

This particular Probe has been to Hell and back, it was a real mess when I first got it but little by little I have been resurrecting it back to it's former glory.

No, it's mostly stock so I have no reason to dyno it yet. All of this stuff will probably net me 10 or 15 horsepower at the wheels.

I have another motor I'm building up and a bunch more mods here for it. So far I have JDM KLZE heads (1mm larger intake valves more aggressive cams) Tokico blues shocks, front mount intercooler, turbo hotpipes and a tapped oil pan (for sale soon if my deal on an Eaton M90 setup works out) few other miscellaneous bolt ons. I have a spare intake manifold I'm porting.

On the car right now is a Jegs battery relocation kit, cold air intake, 11lb flywheel, test pipe and some sort of 2.25" ricer exhaust. It also has polyurethane motor mounts and a new transmission. Most of the work I've done to it is maintenance, it has a new tranny, OEM clutch, water pump, PS pump, belts, I think next inline for replacement will be the entire A/C system (probably just need a new compressor) and the whole suspension.

Just taking it one weekend at a time, a bolt-on here, a junkyard run there. It's gone 12k miles without a single mechanical issue, a current record to date. *knock on wood

i know a guy form another forums that im on that is on probe talk just crashed his 93 probe and bought a 95, he just did a 5 spd swap.

Well guys a little update here I got everything installed, I did most of the work and had a good friend help me on some places I got stuck at like the rear header.

Still needs some minor tuning to eliminate some rasp, but I am impressed with the new setup. It will roast through 1st at the drop of a hat now and some of 2nd.

Now that sounds like a ride! What up with the smoke though? My old hooptie belches the smoke out, but it ain't pimped at all.

I don't know what's up with the smoke, honestly. It never did that, EVER, and it's like after I went up and over 130 it smokes now, I'm betting on 165k mile valve seals.

LOL, yep, most likely valve stem seals. That is why mine smokes like a chimney. I did not know the differce between the intake and exhaust ones, replaced them and it smokes bad. I need to fix that, just lazy.

Actually, it only took about a day... Will have to look into fixing mine.

But JDog, I am glad to hear you ain't running one of them ricers!
