Well I have been finishing up my little project here. Went to the bike shop Monday and did this:





Mechanically everything is finished, 3rd gear is scary at full tilt, the front end wants to lift off the ground. Might fab some wheelie bars for it.

Paint is due this month, Monday I will start stripping everything down and prepping the frame. Original blue will be added with re-pro Stingray 65-74 decals and a headbadge from an original Stingray. It's going to be like a grown-up version of the original Stingray. We tried to get a springer front end to fit but it won't fit so I went with triple trees.

The front forks have a disc brake mount so front 180mm disc will be in order, I have to custom-build a wheel for it but that shouldn't be any problem.

I'm not surprised - the forks are too long for that rake & a short wheelbase ... I took the liberty of chopping it for you - ph34r my 1337 photoshop 5k1775
