I thought in Oct.2006 when I bought a used work truck for myself,I had posted a pic but guess not.Anyhow it had slight bumper,grill and hood damage.And no tailgate.But I had to have it being a bowtie nut and prices were coming back down after the post Katrina contractor rush.I felt 2,800.00 was fair since it does have a 454 with hyper chip and Flowmaster with no cat convertor.So shopping online I bought a overhead 13"flip down monitor and indash FM/TV/CD/DVD player.Then added a double 10"Fosgate cabinet with 350 watt and double 8" with tweets and 250 watt behind seat.That space is now full of left over sound components from past Rides.Then I installed a auto/manual Transgo plate and kit in the 4L80E tranny-NICE!So now on to Mod the outside bought hood grill and bumper for 100.00 and 50.00 tailgate and proceeded to paint in garage and backyard of my Moms`house in spare time.It lets me check on her also,she is up in age and I did fix the house up for her after Katrina.This is where I am now but far from done.Bought Paint,Clear,Flakes and various Pearl powders on ebay for 200.00.Some think I am nuts to do this or to be doing this.I say everywhere I look there are 30,000.+new trucks running around,So what if I spend a max of 4,000.including ride on my work truck I like it and it`s MINE!

once you start you cant ever stop
it empties your wallet fairly fast too

True Rides can cost to work on.I had a many nice ones back in 70`s and 80`s that cost me.But today with 3 children and 7 grandchildren most of my money goes to family matters.Any parts I have bought was from online specials and ebay bidding till I got one in my budget.I just missed them Muscle Cars and felt the need to mod my work truck.jo
