My old man gave me his '70 Impala. Then took it back, wrecked it (well... took the damn front bumper nearly off of it) and gave it back to me.

Then was nice enough to let me know I could drive it when I could afford to... which I ended up buying another car because by the time I could afford to drive it, I couldn't afford what time had done to it. I ended up buying my second car off of him for $50.00 over Blue Book and drove that into the ground (traded it in with 20 years and over 250K on it... got $500.00 bucks for it).

Man, your Mom must freakin' love you, my old man is probably just gonna leave me his freakin' medical debt and a stack of paperbacks when he dies.

Still... I guess I wrecked two of my parent's cars, so I guess it sort of balances out(both accidents declared not my fault, but the car's value wasn't really anywhere near what it was worth to my folks... of course, the cost of both vehicles together under Blue Book as a private seller came out to less than $2,000.00)... but still!

I must admit I`m green with envy.I would love to have a 58 myself,being My wife and I birth year.I remember when a good example could cost 10,000. Not no more...So a big congrats is in order!jops.I would not put my license plate on the web(ya never know)
