That looks and sounds like a motorcycle engine. It's quite simular to the 3/4 stock car
engine my friend Lou's boys race. They use the larger chassis to make it handle better.
The larger tires and wheelbase make all the difference. I doubt if he'll ever get that
kart very stable. But it sure does look like Fun :-)

Here's a few pic's

I would suggest using a turbo'd hiabusa motor, for handling, just make the wheel base about 2 feet longer and throw in new struts.

If you've ever been karting you'll know thats so not the point, but yeah it is fun

Ive been karting on twin 150cc karts, that was a riot, 80mph down the straights and just a twitchy as that thing through the corners (probably cos I can't drive, but...)

250R, the quad, that my buddy won five tourney in a row with, that he put 6K into, goes about 96MPH, on the dyno.

Now that was fun, rear tires were small, not as small as that cart, but small. front tires were almost all grip, whoo lots of fun, on or off road. \

Karting on the other hand, I want the ATOM, which has a honda civic turbo engine. NICE....

Not all of them, the base ?20k model isn't supercharged.

And they're not Honda Atoms, they're Ariel Atoms, with Honda engines.

Hahaha lame... anything with "Eco" anywhere in the name doesn't belong in a sport car.
