I been looking at getting a billet grill that bolts over my existing grill with the cut out for the GMC logo for my 1997 GMC extended cab K1500 4x4 shortbox, so i was wondering what you pimps and pimpettes that own a 4x4 would suggest would be a sharp and nice looking grill, i am looking at spending no more then $150.00 with shipping if not cheaper.

Here is a couple grill pictures i been looking at as of right now.

1st. picture is just plain polished Chrome finish Flaming Inferno Grill $89.95

2nd. picture i might have to spend a little more then i like but i think the grill looks very sharp

The 4th picture is a front of what my truck looks like to give you all a idea what it looks like right now.

So any suggestions or ideas on what i should get would greatly appreciated.

Ps i for got to mentioned i like out of all 3 pictures of the grills the most would have to be the first picture.

I like the 3rd grill OR THIS ONE,
on my last superduty I had a grill that I have yet to see on any truck , I like being unique and not having anything to common yet looks bad a$$

Have you thought about designing your own and contacting one of the CNC pimps to aid in production?

Well i did contact a couple of the CNC to see if they would do a custom grill and unfortunately all the ones i contacted would not do one for me, they told me they only sell the ones they show and that are on the market as of right now.

So i decided to buy the one you see in the 1st picture.


NoSlak i do like the 3rd picture also, the problem with that one is it is the most popular grill i seen in my area and is on a lot of trucks i seen here, so i figured ok i go with the 1st picture since i have not seen anyone with this type of grill and like you i wanted to be the first one in my area to be different and unique and still look bad a$$.

Sorry i am a little late on posted this not sure how i miss this Thrasher2, but i wanted to thank you so much for doing a edit a picture of the grill on my truck, i did get that same grill and installed it on to my truck, as soon as the weather lets up with these darn rain and thunder storms i have to get some pictures of it, the picture looks really good it almost does not look chopped, will see what happens when i actually post some pictures of the real deal, thanks again Thrasher2.

Hey Spectrum i finally got a nice day to post a picture of my truck with the new grill installed that you ask me about here you go..Don't mind the truck it is a little dirty right now hopefully it will stay nice this week so i can wash it.
