Stolen!

Well, nothing was stolen, I think they just forgot to give it to me. So I bought this 91 Eclipse last summer, and it came with a radio but no faceplate. My dad and I took it out and found out its a CQ-DFX983U, a nice Panasonic radio. Bad thing is because it has no faceplate, it's pretty useless. This is why I've come to you lot. I need to get a faceplate for it, and I COULD just order one from Panasonic but they're charging 140$, which would be almost as much as I paid for the car. Could anyone of you help me? Thanks!

I'm betting any place that sells just the face plate part would be pretty shady, considering the detachability of it is supposed to be a theft deterrent...

That's true, but I'm sure some place would sell them as replacement parts. The radio new, when it was first made, was quite expensive and I'd imagine they'd sell the faceplates seperately. I just want to find one for less than 140$

This one could possibly work considering they share the same manual.

Or if you are set in stone on that same headunit, you could get the whole thing (not exactly the same) for 98 bucks here:
