| Ok, I'm officially Obliviowned. I've played a total of 30 hours of this game since I got it about 2 weeks or so ago...and I'm totally hooked. I didn't really like Morrowind, but I love this game ![]() But, anyways, I had a few ?'s for y'all.
![]() And this cool Dwarven Helmet of Sight or something. It basically gives you Medieval NightVision. Everything is in a blueish tint, but you can see things very clearly. Helps out a lot in those dark, dank dungeons where you can't hold a torch and a weapon at the same time. The crappiest piece of equipment I found was the Gloves of Midnight. They are pretty cool looking, but you can only wear them at night. One of its attributes is 30 sun damage on self. That sucks. I learned the hard way. Thank god it saved ![]()

| Apex Master Tech | Later on, do you find some major cash? I'm not anywhere near the 20k price for a house. I stored my loot in a guild house once and came back later to find it turned into a pair of shoes and a vase (OMGHAXX). So now I store it in crates near the houses. I'm an archer at the moment, which feels like a really sissy class: Sneak attack for 3x dmg (one shot kill on some bandits); fire into the face while they approach and if they make it to you, which happens a lot with the daedra(sp?), BACKPEDAL! I'm going to try a mage/warrior this time and hopefully get the best of both worlds. Can't really say i've found any cool toys yet as there is lots of enchanted stuff this time around (didn't seem to be so much in Morrowind). | |

| GK, you have to go into sneak mode first, then you'll be able to pick pocket. Of course, I dont' know what the 'sneak' key is for your PC gamers ![]() Ryj - The 'shanty' house in Imperial City I beliieve is 5000 gold...if you get a house, you can store all your junk in there To get lots of gold, you need to steal lots of stuff or go raid lots of dungeons and sell the stuff thats in it. Remember to HAGGLE when you go to sell stuff to get the best deal possible. I'm able to sell my stuff for about 60% of what they are worth now or something like that. Use your speech craft to get the vendor to 'like' you and you'll have a better chance at getting a good deal. | ||

You have to hit Ctrl which is default for Sneak Mode. If the eye symbol isn't lit up - they can't see you. Then just crawl up to someone and press E. Make sure you quicksave before pickpocketing.

I sacrificed mercantile/speechcraft for more entertaining abilities. :geek: The coolest thing i've found to date is the ability to poison weapons. You can pour the slanted green potion bottles on your weapons. I'm about to see if you can poison your arrows which would make up for their not being as good. It also partially explains some of the wierd "weakness to fire/ice/hamburger/pizza 25%" i've been seeing on some weapons. Alchemy is far more useful now. Has anyone enchanted anything yet? I can see why they killed that skill, but how do you enchant now? or do you? Edit: It only poisons the next shot ![]()
