I just don't know about a lot of the "guild" or "group" leaders of these MMOs. Most of them tend to be some real jerks. In a fight, they'll keep the higher contributor while booting the other one and it doesn't bother them. Why? There's literally thousands of people playing so what's one or two people who got the boot? Sorta like big business mindset....don't want to work here? Fine, you're fired 'cause someone out there is willing to work and get walked over.

Meh, it'll only work in the tech industry. I really doubt that a law firm will care whether or not you're a guild master.
