Plans for Gaming servers?

Are there plans to setup some gaming servers here for this site???

I am planning on setting up a BF2 server after it comes out.

Other than that, not yet. I like the idea but don't have the capital. Something I plan on eventually, though.

Speaking of BF2, Xfire is soon going to have a downloadable demo of BF2 through Xfire.
Might wanna stay updated.
I will post when the demo is released, but to get a good download, might wanna get there early.

BF2 is released already. Came out this week or last part of last week.

Actually its not out yet.
It is claimed to be released on the 21st according to eb games.
Their site doesn't look like its released either.

The demo is available on XFire now, btw. Downloading it now.

I Wish someone would host a 1.6 server.
The one I host out of my house is medieval because of the computer that its on.
It is on a friends brothers old Celeron at 400 mhz.
128 mb sd ram
6 gig hd
Oh yeah, its old

GK: Yeah, i knew someone was going to make that mistake.

I figured as much.
I have bad luck with preorders and my local gamestop.
They never get any preorders in, ever.
i have tried two seperare ones and both failed

I am limited to a cable connection.....
But I would be willing to host game nights for people wanting to play games....
I have a spare 2.5 p4 rig with 1gb ram that can handle the load of most servers.....
Its usually the bandwidth issue and not the pc....
I think at the stompfest GK and I went too....
We held a nice UT2004 tourney...
Hosted on Mine and His rigs....
Wanna do another GK?

I had a BF2 Demo server up for a little bit last night. Just IM me if you can get a few people together that wanna play. Also I am up for hosting just about any game for gamenight. I would love to host a Unreal 2k4 server for a game night.

GK I am a GOD at this game, I would like to volunteer my services to be admin. Kicking TKers, and there is hacking in this game yet again as some asshat found out tonight on the demo when he was banned.

As for other servers, the PR CS Source Servers are really geting popular guys, and Uber Woot might be the sponer over PR then. We will let time tell.

its not beta anymore--workin great....just got a little bandwith problem when 12 or more people join.....
