I'm down with unreal 2k4. I agree on the connection deal. Alot of people have kickin rigs with oodles or RAM and such, but with DSL or cable you cant get the bandwidth of a server on a T-3. Although if people are willing to try, I have a spare rig I can try to host from.

I have a UT2k4 server in the works. Not sure what it will be running game wise but it should still be up.

The demo is one map only and a 10 minute time limit, but it still looks very nice and my rig ran it without problems. I suspect with all the people saying what a resource hog it is, if I got the full version it would run a bit slower. I can't say for sure though.

it would be amd athlon xp mobile 2 ghz stock and can go higher
it also has 1 gig of ram

We are looking into the game server options. However I doubt we will do a BF2 ranked server. They are more expensive than any other kind of server. Besides PR had a BF2 ranked server, and I don't think it was well supported, and that is why it is gone. Correct me if anyone knows another reason though.

Oh, even more of a reason not to do one of those. If we do game servers they would have to be easy to maintain. COD series, Quake series, and most any game with a deidcated server application would be easy to setup, and run.

There were some people from PCA there, they were just incognito

I know for sure that Sn0wMan from PCA was on quite a bit.
A lot of the guys were from my clan and another one we're friends with. We're not really a "serious" clan, either... We just tagged our names so our stats would get aggregated!
