| I've played this game for roughly ten hours, and only the first ten hours are that great. When you get into space, it became a little boring to me, you have to fly planet to planet conquering/trading, moving up and down from orbital to planetary and etc. I can't even figure out how to fight the other damn space ships while I'm in flight. Also, theres that DRM bugger. Really tempted to get rid of this damn game. | ||

| I'm liking the space exploration part. Reminds me of Star Control. But there are some things it explains to you very well and some things it doesn't. Like right now I'm at war and I have no idea how they expect me to defeat the other guys (especially with your problem, Yunk). And now that I'm at war it's not really the sandbox they seemed to expect it to be because I'm constantly helping out my home planets Also, this game would look average three years ago | ||

Interested in selling it before you install three times? I'd still love the game for 2/3's of the reality.

Yeah. I believe I have to make an EA link account for it, but that shouldn't be a problem. Its funny, EA made a "Deauthorization" program for giving you your installs back. Lol.

| Now that I've plowed my way through the last stage of the space part (haven't beaten it yet) I've realized this is the same deal as EVERY other Maxis game. They're good at getting you addicted, but seem to be under the impression that repetative busywork is fun. NO! I don't WANT to save my allies from UFOs, why can't they save ME for once? Did I ally you just so I could take care of your crap? I want to explore space but *BEEP BEEP* there's an ecological collapse going on in some corner of the galaxy way far off from where I am. How am I supposed to run a space empire with one freakin' ship?!?!? The Sims was all busywork with the occaisional fun romance or whatever The Simcity series was that way too but that was the whole game so it wasn't distracting you from anything SimCopter was constantly bugging you with stuff instead of just letting you mess around Maybe all their games aim to be some sort of simulation of real life. You go to work and try to fit in the fun creative stuff in the middle. But I don't play video games to play pretend work! | ||

| Seriously, I've been to the center of the galaxy, I've conquered a good 5% of the known galaxy, I've mapped over 50 wormholes, and collected numerous rare artifacts. Why can't my empire have more than one freaking spaceship? Why must my squadron be made up of other empires crafts? Why, if my allies are advanced enough to be conducting interplanetary trade runs, must I come bail them out every time a dumb animal gets sick or their neighbor starts a fight with them? | ||
