I think this is one of the games in the world that HAS TO GET an AO rating. Besides, anybody who has been waiting for this game is already 18+

Hahah, so true. I think I was 7 or 8 when Duke Nukem 3D came out. It was the first game for PC I ever bought. Hell I still have it!

I bought it on a trip with my dad to New Zealand. It was censored so you'd walk into a strip club and there's music and fancy lights and empty poles. You could even walk up to a pole and hand it money

& you still can play the original duke in XP with the JF Port , the game looks much better high resolution all in 3D (D3D or OpenGL) & much fixes etc...

Anyone else disappointed with the trailer? Just seems like another way to string us along for another couple years like the last 'trailer' and 'pictures' we got a few years ago.

Until I see some actual gameplay footage with a definite release date, I won't believe it's coming...it's been 10+ years...I'm not getting my hopes up.

There are no hopes for duke forever, other than duke kickin some major alien ass.

As for the picture and video, i can only hope we do get a awesome game out of this, at least "when it's done"......

Duke Nukem Forever, wow, and just think, what if they tell us after all these years, they were never going to make it.

The video doesn't even look that good IMO. CG looks several years old.

Duke Nukem is way overdue for a sequel - the original was awesome - let's put the spark of originality back into PC gaming.

From what I understand, it's operating on a heavily modified Unreal 2 engine. And while some if it is a little lacking, I think the model animation is pretty great. If they can really get muscles to flex like that in game they've got something pretty incredible I think.

But really, it's not like the Build engine was hot stuff back when Duke3d was released

Thanks for the link! I just fired up some duke and it does look a lot better than I remember. The controls kinda suck and the secrets are obvious, but other than that it's pretty fun. My main complaint is that you can't save it.
