| For Activision to go back to WW2 after CoD4 seems to be a double-fault, maybe even a triple-fault on their part, IMO... Fault #1: MoH A may not have been all that much of a ground-breaker in terms of graphics or gameplay or even storyline, but damn, how long ago did it come out? Seems like the CoD series was getting all bent ove WW2 in Europe, with CoD, CoD:UO, CoD2, and CoD:BRO (sucked that they didn't release BRO for PC). Then they bring the storyline up to modern times, now they want to go back to WW2 and try and top MoH A... took ya long enough?Fault #2: In keeping with the decade-hopping ideas from Fault #1, I would perhaps suggest that they move on with the concepts of modern warfare and either do something with Operation Enduring/Iraqi Freedom... There ARE troops from other countries other than the US and UK that are actively involved... GEORGIA!!! UGANDA!!! (sorry, inside joke for my boys back at the COP) Fault #3: I don't fully get the whole "we just released a game set in modern times, and here's a leak about the next episode", even before the holiday season immediately following said current release. Yes, the SP campaign does seem much shorter than the pervious istallments, an while IMO the graphics and gameplay/storyline do a valiant job of trying to make up for it, it almost sounds like Activision is giving its own product a vote of at least "Not MUCH Confidence"... ...or am I getting crazy from the desert dust? | ||

There was a game called Vietnam: Black Ops (IGN killed it here) I actually own it, and the system specs call for pentium 266.... But the game was alot of fun in its day, especially cause i couldn't afford the 20$ Quake 3. Otherwise, I Liked the Medal of honor Series a bit more than CoD, well until i played CoD 3 on the X360 at gamestop.. whew it was fun..... Must have played MOH A on gamecube for days on end with others in MP mode, and ran the whole CoOp SP three or four times. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Sempr0n? | This is being handled by Treyarch - same people who did COD3. It's console only. I found it interesting that the COD4 process is called "iw3sp.exe" - ie Infinity Ward 3 Single Player.exe. Obviously they're making a distinction here. Frankly the console CODs should come under a different name or subtitle. Putting them in the COD series and changing the setting back and forth is confusing and unnecessary. COD4 was amazing - but for the next true Call Of Duty can we have Vietnam please? This could potentially be incredibly atmospheric and very gripping. There are only a handful of Vietnam shooters. | |
