Wow, what a short game! Very intense and VERY fun, though! But man was it ever short. I took screenshots throughout and will be posting a screenshot waltkthrough of the game as well as a walkthrough for HL2 Episode 2.

Multiplayer is where its at, very cool with the ranks and the unlocks. Its like the Battlefield series, but not utter crap.

Whats even better is that we've been playing it on LAN in my house and have already got quite far up the ranks without going online

Very cool... I may have to give Multiplayer a shot sometime. Seems nowadays TF2 gets all my online gaming time.

Bout a 1/3 of the way through right now after 2hours of play. It's freakin incredible. Even better it looks better than COD2 ever did and runs faster too!

Eh? Apart from being incredibly buggy, there's nowt wrong with Battlefield.

I must be getting near the end of the COD4 single player, and I must say it's got to be one of the best games I've ever played. But if it really is only a 5-6 hour campaign, that's unforgiveble. I know we have to design PC games for console gamers with two-second attention spans, but come on people. COD has always excelled at both SP and MP - so what's with the length of the campaign in this game? I remember when games used to take 15 hours or so to complete - what was wrong with that?

EDIT: Yeah, just completed it. What an utter disappointment. Felt like I was playing an expansion pack rather than a full game. An awesome expansion pack, but seriously, wtf?

COD4, it's the new black !

I'm not too miffed about the shortness of it. I played it in 2 hour bursts across two days though so that helped.

The game though....is absolutly amazing. It's definatly going to be my game of the year unless UT3 is really freaking good. The action was just incredible and the last few levels after the misiles launch were just jaw dropping. Especially the Mile High Club. Everything about the game from the graphics to the sound and even the story were great.
