Thos f***ing pink mutant pu55ies were the one singular problem that ruined that game for me. As soon as those weird pig-bull hybrid turbo-monkeys made an appearance FarCry was the perfect FPS.

| Far Cry wasn't bad, well until those stupid ass mutants started popping up and bashing me 20 meters away, I only played until the mutants with guns appeared it just completely ruined the game for me. And on the difficulty, it wasn't that bad, the AI, IMO, wasn't too shabby, but what I found to be difficult was the situations the game put you in. An example, when you exited the ship from a "hole" and were surrounded, that took me a couple of tries. But that was not due too spectacular AI, just merely a difficult situation in which you had to plan a little, and with sloppy FPS it can get difficult to aim. | ||

Yeah, same with Crysis re: situations. When you first reach the ledge overlooking the enemy camp if you take it just the right way it's so easy, but if you make one wrong move it can become a little trickier. There is always the option of rushing in if you have the speed to navigate through armour, speed, strength mode and take everyone out in ultimate nanosuit style though!

Sounds like Rainbow Six is perfect for you.

Dude, I really don't mean to be an FPS snob right now, but temporary superpowers in FPS's have been around since the beginning of the FPS like berserker mode in Doom. Just throwing that out there.

Personally I love the sci-fi element of Crysis, but there's nothing wrong with having different tastes in games. Rainbow Six Vegas is awesome. And so is Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2.

While it does drop the realism a little bit, you're FAR from invulnerable in Crysis, especially since things like the strength mod drop your armor

| Here are a few screenshots of my system running Crysis at 1600x1200 in DX10 with Very High Settings :-) ![]() ![]() Also, T2 said the new 169.01 Drivers wouldn't work with his new 8800GT. The Guru of 3D has a new driver 169.02 that is suppose to support the NEW 8800GT. I'm fixing to try it out with my 8800GTX's and see if it performs any better. You can grab them here :-) download from Guru3D.com | ||

Again though, isn't that the whole point of crysis, like a futuristic armor that enables you to do extraordinary things? If I'm wrong I'll shut up.. Its just what it looks like to me. Kinda like TimeShift..

:weeping::weeping::weeping::weeping::weeping: damn you, Slay... Make me want to go out and spend, spend, spend... :furious3: I got an idea: next time you start thinking I'm your hero or something, just send me a high-end computer part, and we'll call it even, ok? ![]()
