Having very recently been in a situation where I occasionally have to run around with a loaded weapon, PEQ-series laser pointer, and night vision, and not knowing where the next threat is coming from, I would vote for ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY AWESOME!!!

Yes, it's a CoD series title... Just like Airborne is a MoH series title... LOVED IT TOO!!!

Yes, it's another modern-day set FPS... I still love BF2 and the expansion packs for it...

Yes, bang-bang-bang, boom-boom-boom... zing-zing-zing (bullets snapping past your head)

Bottom line for me, I about shat myself from the flashback that CoD4 gave me... Now if a game can make me do that, I'd wait in line for the stores to open at midnight on launch date... If I didn't have to head back to the real thing a couple days early... :furious3:

In the meantime (until the wife picks it up and ships it to me), the demo is going to get played damn near incessantly on my laptop...

Somehow I missed part 3 myself. :crazy: At least they made it a different war this time. They probably could have just called it Modern Warfare but I'm sure they want to trade on an established and very popular name, can't really blame them for that. It's not going to revolutionize the genre or anything but it will probably still be fun. Some great sound effects though, i'll give it that.

I was kind of wondering why they skipped CoD3 for PC myself... Since I don't do console games, I have no real idea how CoD3 compared to 1 and 2, but...

I still maintain my vote for AWESOME... :twocents:
