I had more problems with x86 Vista than x64.

x64 runs fine and dandy.

Anyways, re Far Cry 2....it looks great, and I love the randomly generated foliage. The fire model is very clever too. I hope it turns out a good game, because I loved the freeform nature of Far Cry. It's gonna have to go some to beat Crysis though, if the hype about that game is right.

Me and my friends used to try speed runs on realistic. I think the fastest we were able to complete it was just around 3 hours. Only two out of five of my friends actually ever finished the game, due to its difficulty.

I made it about 3/4 of the way through then corrupted my hard drive and had to refrormat. Loved it while it lasted though.

Cervat Yerli from Crytek was going on about how they're really ashamed about the end of that game. He said that they'd just shoved it all in at the last minute to get the game finished, and decided that since only about 10% of people would actually get that far, there wasn't much point putting a lot of effort into it. Personally I thought it was too hard, but meh.

The reason I didn't finish Far Cry wasn't because of the difficulty, but the awful storyline which just got so FUBARed that I couldn't go on, same with Half Life and is most likely what will happen with Crysis, which only seems to have the graphics going for it.

Meh, after you beat it on realistic, every other fps is easy, even the hardest difficulty.

Should also mention that I thought HL2 and ep1 were awful :geek: Well, the storyline in HL didn't bother me as much as I might have inclined, but the space areas were just so horrid.

Exactly my thoughts. Until the mutants, it was fantastic. Then it just got all silly and less tactical.
