Pretty much. You'd think that games would've gotten better. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Other great games from a similar time: System Shock 2 (as was stated above) Fallout 1 & 2 (do not speak to me about the upcoming "number 3") Baldur's Gate 1&2 with expansion packs. Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura (I admit that I haven't played much of this one, but mostly because I started playing it in the middle of a semester which was jam packed with assignments) Now all of these except SS2 are CRPG's and have a rather slow game play, but the stories and characters sure do make up for it. I play all of these regularly, except SS2 and Arcanum, SS2 because I never can get it to work properly :furious3: and Arcanum because I can't find my disk. | ||

| I just tried to play it again. Damn game won't even run! "Please insert the Deus Ex CD-ROM, and restart the game." IT'S IN THE DRIVE!!!!!! I CAN SEE IT WITH MY OWN TWO EYES!! :furious3: FFS. I tried a nocd crack and it still refuses to run. Either asking for the CD still, or giving me some error where it can't find a file. I think it's about time game companies started remaking games like film companies do with films. You know, update the graphics and sound and maybe put their own spin on things. It's such a shame that classic games can be such a PITA to run. They did it with Tomb Raider so let's see it with some other games! | ||
