| Time for another parental watch alert. Qoute: How bad is it? According to the Youth Internet Safety Survey conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice, one in five children (10 to 17 years old) receive unwanted sexual solicitations online. That survey is in agreement with findings of other groups, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. In a 2000 study the center said one in five teens were approached in a sexual nature online. For more what to do and watch fore check it at Tech TV. | ||

| That's because there's only an issue with 20% of the kids surveyed. You must be part of the 80% who "don't see an issue". You aren't the be all and end all of internet kids online. Just because you haven't seen the problem doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It's not something to take lightly. I for one don't want one of my kids being part of the 20%. | ||
