also, from the sounds of the article on slashdot, the general concensus seems to be that it is vaporware, or a doomed-to-fail project if it does exist. from what i've read on it, i have to agree. at the very least, they are targeting the wrong audience by saying it isn't a gaming system for hardcore gamers.

a winXP OS on a HDD that supposedly can't be accessed even if you could break the supposedly impregnable encryption on it (they say 'bad things" happen if you open the case, my guess would be a HDD wipe, easiest way to disable it). plus they seem to think people will pay for the game, then ay again each time they play it. seems like BS to me except maybe for the hardcore gamers that get really into the game-du-jour then toss it for the next $60 game that comes outt he following week and never touch it again, in that case it may be worth it.
