Ugh, looks like more plans from "The Brotherhood of Evil Computer Industry Corporations" a.k.a. "The Man" to take away our rights are coming down the pipe to a computer near you...

"all computers would have a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) built into the bios, video card, sound card, CPU or any other computer part with 2048bit strong encryption. This module will work with your operating system (Microsoft OSes) and make sure that only TCPA software and hardware will work with your system..."

That is ultra proprietariness, like super-duper proprietariness. I am not buying one of those things. wtf is the computer industry coming to?

As a hardware manufacturer, what is my motivation for adding an expensive piece of hardware [and 2k encryption is currently expensive] to my board? So Kid Rock doesn't get ripped off? And I care because? Don't think it will happen - been wrong before.
