The Tuniq 2 really brings a lot to the table. I was pleasantly surprised by all that was offered and the extreme ease of installation. Although the chassis was heavy steel and there was no removable mainboard tray, there was plenty of space to work. The combination of the tool-less PCI slot clamps and the wide open space around the Optical and HDD area provided for a very easy installation experience. To add to it all, the two installed, and included extra 120mm fans provided for quiet cooling and plenty of airflow. Overall, I'm quite happy with the Microfly. This, of course comes after using it for a few days on end as a 'Daily Driver' type of machine. It's sturdy, and has enough airspace that cooling is decent, without forward intake. On the whole, while there may have been qualms during the installation phase, things are working out nicely, and I'm quite happy with this case. The Cooler Master Centurion 540 is a mATX case with a sleek aluminum front, sporting very nice blue LEDs and a black fan grill. While the outside appearance leaves nothing to be desired, the inside does not disappoint either. The hardware installation is a breeze and the great fan mounting positions make it an ideal candidate for water cooling. The case definitely has the Cooler Master quality, but still a very affordable price tag. Today 3DXtreme is pleased to present our latest hardware review of a recently released mid-tower Case from Cooler Master. Cooler Master has long been known for delivering some of the highest quality Cases to the market. The ATC series was a personal favorite of mine and I owned three of them over the years. When heat and the need for more space shifted my focus to full-tower Cases I was sad to have to leave my ATC Cases behind. Today’s Case, the Mystique 631, is an aluminum mid-tower available in a silver or black brushed aluminum finish. Weighing in at a mere 13.9 lbs it was refreshing to review a Case this light yet this well constructed. It has been awhile since I’ve seen a lightweight Case that was made of aluminum come in for a review. The front plastic bezel is textured with vertical lines, and brushed aluminum dash plates are a very nice touch. Ventilation holes are strategically stamped along the side panel of the case. The real surprise is inside of the NSK2400 it features a three chamber thermal structure to isolate heat and noise produced by the power supply and hard drives and other components in your system. Sunbeamtech aka Tuniq has recently been putting out some great cases for those that have financially impaired wallets. Thermaltake's Aguila case looks to be a well-built and expandable case that's sure to impress at the next LAN party!
The Thermaltake Aquila is an ATX/BTX midtower that appears quite well designed. With the side window and the modders screen door, it is very visually appealing, and is one of those cases that you could display and be proud of. Manufacturers have to keep up with today's hardware, as cooling and flexible installation is almost essential in today's market. Extreme air coolers, water-cooling, and phase change coolers are getting better and smaller, and are being made to be compatible with most PC cases. The Agila is advertised to hold Thermaltake's Bigwater 735 system (but more on that later) but for now let’s see what this thing has to offer... Full Story at OCModShop | | | | | | |
