I'm quite honestly impressed with the the S8. For a low-priced case, iStar has included a lot of bang for the buck, including some features much more expensive cases skimp out on. Tool-free drive bays all the way around, a solid expansion card retaining slot, and great cooling all make for a case that's easy to live with. The S8's clean, discreet looks make it as easy on the eyes as it is on the hands. This raises my first concerns about this case: its size. It?s basically a mid-tower turned on its side, which makes it quite deep compared to standard A/V equipment. While this means there's plenty of room in the case for large graphics cards and several hard drives, it also means you need to consider whether you have room for such a large and obtrusive device. The Powmax Xman black atx computer case comes complete with a 480W atx power supply. This computer case has all of the latest pre-mod features many people are looking for. In the transparent side window of the case is a red neon 80mm fan. Inside the case are 11 device bays for all of your hardware. In the back of the case is a fan port which accepts 80mm, 90mm, or 120mm fans. On the front of the case there is a red neon aqua appearance, and a hinged door to conceal all of your devices. The X-man Silver also has a lighted Case badge area. This looked like prime time to bust out my Thundercats case badge for some lighting action! Ahh, brings back those eye of Thundera moments.

In an age of "over plastic" and wildly designed cases a classic looking case may grab your attention as never before. The RAIDMAX X-1 case maintains the appearance of a mild-mannered case while including all the right features to turn heads... without feeling overly pre-mod. In the hands of the right modder there is no end to what could be done to personalize the X-1. Full Story at Modders-Inc | | | | | | |
