AMD pricing itself into a black hole with the Thorton

"What the Thorton might do is to allow AMD to cut costs and improve wafer yields. Because AthlonFX has a disabled cache block, AMD can now take CPU dies they were previously throwing away because of defective cache and "recycle" them into AthlonFX's..." ya thats kinda wonky i mean almost all athlon xp's are low budget priced especially if you can still get your hands on a XP1700+ the only high priced athlons are the high end bartons from 2800+ up
