How often have you been talking to a fellow computer geek buddy and he started going on about Ultra3 or LVD or Fast SCSI and you just nodded your head like you knew what he was talking about, but secretly you were confused?

SCSI standards are enigmatic at best since there are often so many names for the same standards and since it is primarily server hardware, many of us never get the practical hands on knowledge needed to fully understand this technology.

Now this isnt something I do often, sending our loyal readership to other forums, since ours are usually full of such great information, but i felt this thread over at 2cpu.com warranted it this time.
