| Apex Tech God | Intel's Newly released Centrino Chipset for laptops is giving a real headache to Linux enthusiasts. In a not-so-suprising move, Intel has refused to provide Linux Drivers for its new Centrino chipset, leaving it up to the OpenSource community to design them on their own, a process which could possile take years. ""WHEN YOU SEE THAT Centrino sticker on the computer, you can substitute Microsoft Windows XP." So says Michael Robertson, Lindows.com CEO on the company's website. He continues, "as a cost saver perhaps we can expect to see 'Xpino' stickers in the future." See the Full Story @ TheInquirer.net |
