| The Opteron prices are VERY high. Priced at the same level as the high end single core opterons, the chips range form $1'500 to a stonking $2'600. It is a nieche market for now, and the cores are rare on the market. In this respect, it will be while before the numbers go down...the desktop releases of the dual cores will no doubt see to that.
