Default Corsair TWINX Memory Review

Some will tell you that having paired memory modules isn't really necessary just as long as the modules are of similar size and speed rating. For the most part this is true and when buying from a reliable manufacturer like Corsair the adverse effects are minimized to a certain degree. Although this is not always the case, memory is very speed sensitive and what may work great at default speed can become very unstable at anything above that. That is where TWINX is different.

Nice post! They have a good explaination of the latency numbers, too.

I just bought the TWINX 2x256MB 3200 Platinum set last night (it was $3 cheaper than the non-platinum, go figure), in part from your advice on another thread. Thanks abyss!
