While 482 MHz is rather astonishing, it is very difficult to actually fully utilize the bandwidth in current AMD configurations. Unless you can sync up your processors FSB with the memory speed, much of the 482 MHz will go to waste waiting on the CPU. Corsair's problem is they are so far ahead of the industry that most of the speed is hard to justify on current AMD systems, but XMS PC3500 does help to future proof your system."
