SJPEG the newest format?

The now mature JPEG/JPG format could soon be replaced by the SJPEG, its new space saving heir to the picture throne. The new format is aimed to save a further 30% form the normal JPEG format (and about 50000% from the original BMP format).

	Allume, the people who make the Stuffit archiver have created a new compression algorithm that will losslessly compress JPEG files by an average of 30% (they claim). This algorithm will be part of the Stuffit 9 software. The test computer used was a Pentium4 1.8GHz with 512MB of RAM running Windows 2000.
