Default Court rules being a pimp isn't a bad thing...

Quote:
The term 'pimp' as used on the EXPN.com Web site was not intended as a criminal accusation, nor was it reasonably susceptible to such a literal interpretation. Ironically, it was most likely intended as a compliment.

I think that Evel might be down on his luck and looking for a payday. Just think, I used to have respect for the guy. Now, when he uses that kind of language in a news quote...well, let's just say that I'm glad he's not someone kids look up to today.

I like this part
Quote:
Although the word 'pimp' may be reasonably capable of defamatory meaning when read in isolation, we agree with the district court's assessment that 'the term loses its meaning when considered in the context presented here,'" Judge Wallace Tashima wrote for the three-judge panel.

Thats pretty pimp!

I used to think Evel was Pimp, but no longer. Robbie is still cool, but hasn't reached Pimp status.

For a computer graphics project, I am making a picture of me wearing a pimp suit, but just in case to avoid problems, it's a "man of leisure" suit.

I posted my Sting-Ray on the Schwinn forums and their moderator is extremely nit-picky, pimp is a bad word over there now and my topic got deleted because I said my Sting-Ray had pimp juice. The fooking moderator doesn't even know what a Shimano Click-Stik is, hell, that's liek Zenn being clueless to phase-change cooling or to some extent, BA not being a hardass

Of course the moderator that did this has a history of this and he also has a history of being anal and deleting helpful topics because they are not Schwinn-related and make references to other manufacturers. F*ck that, can't find me there anymore

Imagine this on your resume, "Primary reviewer for a fast growing enthusiast website.." and then having to tell your interviewer that the site is PimpRig.com. Once I can get a person to log on, they are bit. If they don't log on, I just whoop their ass and apologize.

Yeah... I can't count how many times I have been given a sly grin when I first tell someone that my job is running PimpRig.com. Then I promptly tell them, "No no no... it's a a site about COMPUTERS". Half of them understand the slang we are using and the other half say stuff like, "sure sure..." or "uh-huh, suuuuuure it is...".
