Thats some nice cable... too bad is so cost prohibitive. At our lan parties our lan cable is from leftover spools from corporate installs, and our power cable is disgarded 2-phase cable with industrial ends on them, courtesy of the USMC.

It would probably cost us $3K to replace it with this stuff.

Shielding though... thats an interesting idea. Most parties are prettymuch not up to code in reguards to how the cable is laid.

I cant imagine youd see THAT much of a performance gain though... maybe 10% max.
