DX8 Vs. DX9 Benchmarks!

As most of you know Microsoft has finally released its long awaited Direct X9. But the question is, Does it actully make a diffrence?

"Given the number of decent DX8 titles, that is, games that actually make use of the fancy Vertex and Pixel shaders (hint: that number is low), the question is, will DX9 make any difference with the titles we have on store shelves now?"

Ya know... the fact they mention a lot of games aren't requiring DX8 makes me laugh... how long do they think it's gonna take? I mean, games like NOLF 2 and the like are requiring stuff like a GF4 card to play at maximum detail. It's only a matter of time!

very true dark...i give it a few months, probably 1 or 2 before we start seeing DX9 enabled games
