Exclamation Web News: Dell thinks AMD64 servers are fantastic

Fantastic, fab, excellent, great, better than sliced bread... Are they finally going to make the switch?

Some readers have noticed that if you do a search on Dell for AMD64, software using the renegade processor tips up.
The SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 8 for AMD64 "enables you to deploy both generations of applications on one system", runs the blurb.

"Compared to today's widespread 32-bit standard servers, the 64-bit architecture of the new AMD64 server generation offers more performance and a higher processing speed," it continues.
