| | Affiliate Revews: Cooling Products ThermalRight SLK948U Heatsink Review @ GruntvillE.com | Quote: | | | | | | | | | | | The SLK948U is a dual platform cooler; it's designed for the Athon64/Athlon FX series as well as Intel Socket 478. ThermalRight was certainly thinking versatility on this day. Sure releasing a high-performance heatsink for the Athlon64 is great but opening up coverage to the Intel sockets ensures that their will be plenty of interest in the sink if it performs well. | | | | | | Kingwin Arctic Liquid Cooler Review | Quote: | | | | | | | | | | | After playing around with the Kingwin Arctic Liquid Cooler, we would have to say that we are 110% satisfied. Not only with it's performance, but with it's quality, and ease of installation. There are so many things to like about this kit; dual radiators, preformed hoses, all in one base with digitally controlled fan speed and overheat alarm. Sound reduction is also a huge bonus. Under normal operating temperature, the secondary radiator never runs above 50%, but once it approaches a preset temperature the fan kicks into 100%. This means most of the time your newly water cooled computer will be virtually silent. | | | | | | Swiftech MCW5000P Review @ Virtual-Fusion.com | Quote: | | | | | | | | | | | The Swiftech obtained to prove because one of the greaters and more appraised companies of refrigeration of the world is acclaimed. Design of this block obtains soon since catching the attention of any person, and the technology for backwards of this huge blue block, is without any fenomenal doubt. All the base of the block seems to have been carefully studied and recriada, for form to confer a maximum performance in conditions of great heating. Its capacity of expansion for a termoeléctrica unit is another one of the strong points of this block, being especially util for a progression in the some métdos of refrigeration. Already the weak availability of accessories for Swiftech systems in Portugal, constitutes a negative point short while, since it disables the expansion of the system of watercooling, or compels to the acquisition of these noutros accessories countries. Its price is balanced with the performance, exceeding, however, 50€, being more necessarily in 59,90€ being able this being acquired in the PCDiga store . It would also like to be thankful the Dima and to all it equips it of the PCDiga for the sending of this waterblock for analysis. | | | | | | Gigabyte 3D Cooler-Ultra GT Review | Quote: | | | | | | | | | | | Now, of course, comes the real test: the cooler's performance. I tested the cooler (and its stock counterpart) in two different modes of performance, idle and stress test (running Prime95), testing the Gigabyte at three different RPM levels, slow (2000 RPM), Intermediate (3000 RPM), and Max (4500 RPM). The temperature was given 20 min. to stabilize for each test. CPU temperature was reported to MotherBoard Monitor 5 from the CPU diode on my Abit IS7. The ambient temperature in my house for all of these tests was 24 degrees C. | | | | | | asetek WaterChill Antarctica Kit @ Viper Lair | Quote: | | | | | | | | | | | Temperature wise this water-cooling kit was amazing. In most of the tests, the CPU temperature was the same as the case temperature, which is excellent for any cooler. I credit this to the well designed water block. By using two water outlets, and placing the water inlet directly above the processor core, cooling was as effective as it could be. The ½ inch tubing also helps a lot. Most kits seem to use 3/8 inch tubing, which will not provide as much water flow as the ½ tubing. All in all this is an excellent product. | | | | | | |
