"On the desktop, AMD left its fastest, highest-margin Athlon XP processors unchanged, but made significant cuts on its slower desktop offerings. While AMD only cut prices on its 2200+ desktop Athlon XP by 14 percent, cuts on slower Athlon XPs ranged from 45 percent to 53 percent. | Duron is pretty much dead. Most of the computer stores around Calgary only sell the 1200 and 1300mhz durons now for dirtcheap prices. The Athlon XP 1600 is actually the same price as them now and everything else is dropping like a rock. WOOT I love this, AMD you rock. | ||
