Sounds like the perfect reason to sue alot of people for money to me.

RIAA probably figured they could use the lawsuits to pay off the 50 million when people started asking about it. That way they get to keep the 50 mil they originally witheld, and the downloaders pay it off in the lawsuits.

Regardless, it's about time someone got some dirt on the RIAA. not that they don't have any dirt to find, they just keep it well hidden behind locked doors.
