Microsoft Corp., the world's largest software maker, had its Tokyo office raided by Japan's Fair Trade Commission as part of a probe into how it supplies Windows XP software for computers sold in Japan.

The investigation involves whether Microsoft's licensing of Windows XP software violated the country's anti-monopoly law, said a commission official, who declined to be named. Microsoft Japan spokesman Kazushi Okabe confirmed commission officials were at the office, adding that he didn't know why they were there.

i just have to say it. i am so sick of hearing about microsoft getting sued. people buy the software and or a computer with the msos on it and then cry that they were not offered a choice. if you want a choice build your own dam computer and put a different os on it.

you don't here people cry about mac's do you. but if they were the dominant force in computing hardware and software you but your a$$ some one woulod cry about it. all this talk about monoplies and fair business is making me sick already. if people don't like ms go uot and buy something different already, stop crying.
