| Custom What?  |  Web News: Google News says INQUIRER news on hold THE LATTERDAY giant of news aggregator services – Google – has admitted its software technology is having trouble aggregating INQUIRER news stories. But then, what does Google know about news? Its Google News engine is just a fancy way of making money, surely. It certainly never breaks news itself. One of the paradoxes of Google's practices is that other news wires that use the INQUIRER don't seem to have any problem whatever with the engine. As news is important in all sorts of ways, the INQ believes it is time for the firm to be taken to task, even though, of course, we have a fully disclosed axe to grind. I frequent the Inquirer quite often for the interseting news storys. But this is not fare to all looking for news. More here. | |
