| | Web News: Firm Claims Patent on Computer Solitaire OVER AT web site A Shareware Life, there's a report about a company being hauled over the coals by a lawyer claiming a patent on card game Solitaire is being breached.
According to the site, implementations of Solitaire on computers infringes the "Goldberg Patents", in particular claim 18 of one particular US patent, 6,264, 560.
This particular patent, which you can see here, is actually a patent for playing games on a network and a number of games are mentioned, including blackjack, poker, craps, roulette and baccarat. More Here
