| Custom What?  |  Computers seized in FBI Half Life 2 raid THERE'S A STORY on a web site that appears to be connected to investigations the FBI is making into the theft of Half Life 2 code. According to this web site, Chris Toshok's home was raided by the FBI last week with a warrant to search his house and computers. Toshok also said in account on his blog that the Secret Service was involved in the raid. But after taking a heap of computer kit and other material, and taking photographs of the house, the agents gave Toshok a receipt for the goods they had taken. A search warrant they gave Toshok said it was issued in relation to Valve Software, Half Life 2, Counter Strike and other games and related materials. The feds were also searching for emails related to Valve, to Half Life 2, or to IP addresses connected to the game code. More here. | |
