| From The Tech Report AnandTech's review of Gigabyte's K8NNXP-940 suggests that AMD's Athlon FX-51 processor has an unlocked multiplier ripe for overclocking. As far as I've seen, the K8NNXP is the first mainboard to offer users multiplier control without a special BIOS, which is good news for enthusiasts. Unfortunately, the Athlon FX-51's $750 street price is still far from good news, unless you're comparing the chip to a Pentium 4 Extreme Edition. Review of Gigabyte's K8NNXP-940 | ||
