Tomorrow is our last day at CES. This day we saw some of the most outstanding products so far! How about a LCD monitor from ZALMAN that will let you play 3D games in stereoscopic mode (3D depth) with glasses that need ZERO power and ZERO wires. It was a seriously impressive display. Razer showed us their new desktop PC speakers which aim to rival and surpass the sound quality of Bose... Yes, I said Bose. Ya know what? I think they may be true in their claims. We were able to hear them in action and the sound produced was simply outstanding. A couple other highlights included a tour of the latest Silverstone line of cases as well as an IMPRESSIVE HTPC solution from MSI... more details to come in the upcoming CES article!

Ask anyone who knows anything about audio and they'll laugh in your face at that! (Well actually, something superior to an established name (if unjustly so) coming from a company that has nothing to do with audio anyway is rather impressive...)

Umm, I was there too (just got back from Vegas about an hour and a half ago) and Glitterkill is correct, they do rival Bose and I think actually surpass their latest offerings that I have listened to.
I am not going to say the Razer speakers' sound is perfect, but then as you say, anyone who knows anything about audio knows that Bose hasn't been among the elite for many years either.

BTW, the new Silverstone Temjin cases coming out are t3h r0x0rz!

Great benchmark system - everything sounds better after listening to the stuff made for the last 5-7 years I think.

Those speakers were pretty impressive. I'd also like to add that they are THX certified.

I have yet to own a pair of speakers, if these are good as they say I may have a Razer join my little logitech family.

I do some side work with a home theater company. You should see Howie shudder whenever someone mentions bose. He hates that stuff.

They are really on to something with this speaker system. Not only does it look awesome, have a very nice audio control module and produce outstanding audio. It is as mentioned backed by a T.H.X. certification, it uses technology ( i.e. ClassHD™ Digital Amplifier Technology) that was previously only seen in higher end audio equipment costing thousands more than the suggested price point of the Razer Mako.

The CES 2007 show was awe inspiring to say the least. I got to see alot of new technology and inovative products that are coming up soon and I met alot of new people including GK, FG, gF, T2, Hojo and his wife Jo . Touring the floor was fun but the parties were just off the hook, especially the MA-Labs/Super*Talent party.

BTW: Hope you had fun T2

Oh, and here is a pic of me with the new KillerNic from Bigfoot Networks I won and yes that bling around my neck is the actual heat sink from a card. I won it because I got the necklace from one of the Bigfoot guys at the OCZ Overclockerfest Party and got seen wearing it on the floor at the convention center. I got the last of the necklace that night and won the first of four NIC's the very next day. w00t!!!
